Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement

The GLWQA is subject to periodic review every six years. CELA is working closely with basin partners to encourage public involvement in this review and support for stronger measures to address toxic hotspots, raw sewage overflows, invasive species, emerging chemical concerns as well as climate change, all of which threaten water quality in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River. More collections of materials about water quality, quantity, and the Great Lakes are available in our Water Sustainability index. Learn more on the Great Lakes Forever website.
