The protection of drinking water sources is the first of the multi-barrier approaches recommended by Mr. Justice O'Connor in his Walkerton Inquiry recommendations. CELA has remained heavily involved, since the Walkerton Inquiry, in ensuring all of the Inquiry recommendations are implemented.
