Making the Links: Environmental Health, Equity & the Law - Nov 10th Workshop in Windsor
Making the Links: Environmental Health, Equity & the Law Workshop
Windsor, ON
November 10, 2010
Location details to follow.
The Canadian Environmental Law Association and the Environmental Health Institute of Canada ask you to save the above date to attend the "Making the Links: Environmental Law and Health Workshop" in your community.
This free workshop is part of our Making the Links Project, an interdisciplinary outreach program being under taken with funding from the Law Foundation of Ontario. It is focused on environmental law and access to justice issues in six Ontario communities, including Windsor. These communities were chosen, in part, because of the presence of high pollution burdens and incidences of environmental health issues, and high percentages of sensitive populations.
This unique event will provide an opportunity for medical professionals, legal professionals, community service providers, and community activists to explore the intersection between environmental health and law and work collaboratively on topics such as indoor air quality, occupational exposures, children's health and regulation, and environmental rights.
