Invitation to May 20th Environmental Briefing on the Canada - European Union Trade Agreement (CETA)

What are the environmental issues and implications of the CETA which is currently being negotiated between Canada and the European Union, and which, for the first time ever, is including Canada’s provinces and territories in the negotiations?

Call-in information will also be provided at a later date to those who require it.

Agenda will include an overview of the CETA; status of the negotiations; highlights of some of the main issues of concern and interest to civil society; review of implications for environmental protection and policy in Canada and in the provinces and territories, and what we presently know about the negotiations on those topics. Opportunity for questions, discussion and next steps will be included.
