Children's Health and the Environment

Primer, brochure, strategies manual and related resources

CELA is a founding member of the Canadian Partnership for Children's Health and Environment (CPCHE). CPCHE's Childproofing for Environmental Health national awareness campaign includes a comprehensive Primer on children's environmental health issues, a summary brochure and ongoing outreach activities. Alongside the September, 2005 launch of the Primer, a more comprehensive technical report, upon which the Primer is based, was released by Toronto Public Health (also a CPCHE parter). Environmental Threats to Children's Health: Understanding the Risks, Enabling Prevention is available on the City of Toronto website.
