After Texas, Ontario is the biggest polluter in North America. What better place to follow the leadership of Massachusetts, New Jersey, California, and the European Union and pass a law to reduce toxic emissions and support green technologies?  CELA has worked alongside colleagues in the health, environment, and labour sectors focused on cancer prevention and community right-to-know, and wrote a model law for toxics reduction in Ontario. CELA has continued to analyze the development and now the implementation of Ontario's legislation and related regulations on toxics reduction in this light.
