Mohawks and Residents' File Appeal Applications with Supreme Court of Canada in Richmond Landfill Case As reported in the September 9, 2004 CELA Bulletin, the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte and residents living near the Richmond Landfill wish to take their legal challenge regarding the proposed expansion of the Richmond landfill to the Supreme Court of Canada. The two groups have now filed appeal applications with the court.
